Fish Oil for mood issues and pain

Fish Oil may provided the building blocks to help heal damaged cells in the nervous system and prevent cell death.  There is evidence that Fish Oil helps treat mild to moderate depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder and other mood issues.  Fish Oil products containing EPA and DHA are preferred because they are long chain fatty acids that can be used more easily by the body.  Also, the EPA component is responsible for mood effects.  Fish oil promotes nerve health and decreases inflammation.  In addition, it may slow inflammation in joints

      Thank you for your comment Serena. A reference is provided for the article. Although fish oil may not be as helpful for heart and vessel health as we hoped, the mood treatment possibilities are still supported by current evidence. Be Well.
